Hi, I'm Raine

I've been reading since I was two and read a couple hundred books a year. I'm a 30-something writer, editor, and feminist in Calgary, I love animals, I'll choose tea over coffee every time, and I decided I wanted a place to talk about all the books I'm reading that isn't my goodreads. I will read almost anything except high fantasy (I find it tedious) and aggressively-male-written sci-fi in which women are idiot sex objects with three breasts and like, tentacle stuff. Gross. Even worse is when the female protagonist is clearly an author's fantasy self-insert.

I'm a reader for NetGalley, Edelweiss+ and BookSirens, and my TBR is intimidatingly large.

Can't stop though, more to read!
